This Summer's Hottest Indian Wedding Clothing

Bridal season is officially here! Indian Bridal Fashion Week was incredible, with showstopping acts by designers Rohit Bal and JJ Valaya in particular.

The array of styles shown at IBFW are certainly something to aspire to, so let's take a look at transposing fashion from the catwalk to reality.

The most stylish Indian wedding clothing this summer would appear to be golden lehengas. Almost all desingers at the IBFW used golden lehengas in their exhibitions. The regal effect the colour produces is essential for any bride, who should feel like a princess during the ceremonies.

Visiting the new collection of Karieshma Sarnaa on the StrandOfSilk website, I found these beautiful clutches. The combinations of colours are their distinguishing feature ; their vibrant colours allow women to wear them at any wedding ceremony. Moreover, colours are not the only characteristic of these clutches: the association of metal and embroidery on the outer and the satin inside are very nice.

Karieshma Sarnaa is an Indian designer who mixes traditional and contemporary styles. The floral coloured embroidery ensures a unique style to her collections.

The secret of the latest Indian Bridal Fashion for Embroidery | from Strandofsilk.com : Machine Embroidery

Hello Everyone!
This morning I was browsing Strand of Silk's website to look for some new masterpieces to add to my wardrobe.
As it often happens, I ended up in the bridal page and I spent sometime looking at the beautiful bridal lehengas and wedding sarees.
In particular, I focused on the embroidered creations by Narendra Kumar. I love his style!

All of these details must require a huge amount of work - I thought.
Then I noticed the grey box in the top menu calling me again! So I got to the Strand of Silk blog and I read a bit about embroidery, and its latest trends.
Enjoy a preview of the article below!

"This season few of our designers are leaning towards machine embroidery. This technique helps in creating a variety of designs with ease as compared to hand embroidery. It allows for the use of a wide variety of colours and stitches. It is almost a way of perfecting the embroidery and the finish for the final design."
