Indian Skirts at Asiana Couture Fashion Show 2013


The Asiana Couture Fashion Show took place in London last Sunday. It was a great occasion to see new collections of Indian couture wear, including beautiful lehengas and Indian skirts. We were there to collect ideas and inspirations to offer you the trendiest pieces of the season!

Bollywood Star Sushmita Sen Walking the Ramp wearing Bridal Lenghas

Sushmita Sen walked the ramp for Charu Jewels by Nikhil Desai at India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) 2013 back in early August, for their “Shades of Saffron” collection.

Sushmita looked amazingly beautiful walking the catwalk with bridal lenghas, choli and dupatta as she made an exquisitely breath-taking entrance to the show, wearing a remarkable choker necklace with a stunning, dazzling emerald. Also on display were sensational pearls, bangles and rings to top off this tremendous display.

Indian Clothes at the Incredible India Week 2013

The Incredible India Week 2013 organized by the Indian embassy has started yesterday and will take place at Siam Paragon until Sunday. The aim would be to celebrate the country's Independence Day and to mark the strong cultural link between India and Thailand. As main highlights of the event, in fact, there will be historic dances and expositions of India’s cultural heritage, including Indian clothes, jewellery and ethnic handicrafts. In addition, visitors will have the chance to enjoy the authentic Indian cuisine at the "Taste of India".

While looking the parade we were enthralled by the bridal lehengas showed, that combined traditional and contemporary style in a unique way.
