Swapnil Shinde
Swapnil Shinde showcased a
collection called “An Affair to Remember” which was inspired by
the glam love from Hollywood 1950’s era at the Indian Fashion Week. The colour
scheme for his collection worked around gentle and solid shades of beige, slate
blue, yellow mustard, purple berry, jet black and egg shell. At the Lakme
Fashion show, the key element of Swapnil’s collection was Hearts &
geometric peacock prints, woven with a web of glitzy mystery with his signature
bold silhouettes. He played with traditional Maharashtrain Paithani
weave with its antique gold & orange borders. At the Indian Fashion Week,
Huge eye catching coloured bows were the star attraction at the back of the
outfit. This collection was a perfect amalgamation of traditional fabric with
modern design. The footwear was very well noticed cause of their ultra-stylish
design. Swapnil definitely managed to stamp off enough drama as the model walk
down the ramp at the Lakme Fashion show.
