jewellery symbolise beliefs and is associated to wealth, power, social status,
affiliation to a caste and beauty as well.
Indian jewellery is
said to be invested of the power of the gods and goddesses.

important jewellery has been in India for millennia by looking at the art representing
divinities richly adorned with necklaces, rings, bracelets, nose rings, ankle
bracelets and hair ornaments, etc. We can also see Indian kings bearing shiny
and colourful polished stones.
