The half-lehenga saree, influenced from international fashions and designs, is the successful result of a cultural combination of sarees and lehengas, a comfortable and convenient style to wear without losing the elegance of the traditional attires. 

It does not take too much time and effort to put on as usual sarees do. In fact, it presents a zip along the side that adjusts to your relevant size and measurements. Do you like it?


Flaunt Leather Indian Acessories by Ritu Kumar

It's time to flaunt leather Indian accessories like bags, satchels and iPad cases with Indian ornamental designs.
Fashion designer Ritu Kumar has launched a leather accessories collection with Indian prints like Jamavar, hand-block and chintz. Colours like dark reds, browns and blacks highlight the beauty of the prints, said a statement.
Simple leather has been beautified with hand printed and machine embroidery to create a three-dimensional effect.
Available in stores from November, the price range for the collection, which includes satchels, laptop, iPad cases, sling bags and wallets, starts at Rs.4,000.

What: Sarees, scarves and dhotis are the best example un-stitched garments made from Indian fabrics and great Indian accessories to add to your outfit.

Magnificent Indian Necklaces at the India Gem & Jewellery Awards

Brand ambassador of The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), Sonam Kapoor attended the India Gem & Jewellery Awards organized by GJEPC on 5th October in Mumbai. An independent jury selected a total of 31 winners from over 270 nominations received from across India. The glittering awards ceremony was anchored by the versatile and tremendously talented theatre and cinema personality, Boman Irani.


In both photos you can see one her many beautiful Indian necklaces. This gold necklace topped with pearls and rubies really complemented her simple but delicate dress.
