We know that Indian Celebrities and Bollywood Stars in particular are proud of their traditions and love to wear traditional garments for the public events that they participate in.
In particular, among the various clothes offered by Indian tradition (Lehengas, Anarkali Suits, Salwar Suits..) Sarees seem to be the favorite of most celebrities.
As an example, when she was invited as a member of the jury in the next Cannes Festival, the actress Vidya Balan decided immediately that she was going to wear a Designer Saree created just for that special occasion!
Certain times there are awkward moments where different stars end up wearing the same dresses in official events. Well, wearing a Saree is no longer enough of a distinction to avoid this risk!
Look at what happened to Kareena Kapoor and Monica Bedi.
Monica was accused of being copying her styles from other celebrities and in particular from Kareena. Not nice rumors for celebrities who aim at being consider style setters!
Recently wearing Indian sarees proved to be a trendy idea also for celebrities outside India!
