Manish Arora’s Indian bridal wear at DCW 2013

Designer Manish Arora returned to traditions to display his Indian bridal wear collection on the fourth day of the Delhi Couture Week. He said to be inspired from the Buddhist temples, the baroque period and indian jewellery. When describing his intentions Arora added: “I am also lending a few looks from the Paris collection. Apart from that, it's all Indian bridal wear”. Indeed, each piece of the line has been handcrafted with the use of precious stones, faux, leather, metals and crystals.

In his words, “The modern bride is fierce and sensuous from the exterior, but she is still a pretty girl who wants to look great on her big day. The shades of gold dominate the line with other bright colours like red, orange and yellow”. How to not fall in love with his creations for Indian bridal wear?
