Anita Dongre showcased her new
collection of Indian Bridal Wear at Lakme Fashion Week on Friday. Her Jaipur
Bride 2013 was dedicated to the Rajasthani culture; it took elements from
‘Bandhani’ to ‘bandi’. About the Jantar Mantar’s influence on her creations, she
said “I am fascinated by it. It’s a scientific marvel and I want the world to
know about it”. (Thank you Anita!)
The colour palette she used for wedding functions included bright pink, lime green and ink blue.
